No way his fault for the first goal today. Shocking from Stones, thinking he is better than he is
Although I agree with you about Stones (apparently I am not a proper fan because I wasn't jizzing over his ball play), take a look at the replay and watch Howard give Ayew the eyes and only then start running over. Like Stones, he thought he could do whatever he was doing in time and he couldn't.

It's a nightmare to be agreeing with Carragher & Souness week after week.

Robles has to step in now. Those two goals wouldn't have happened if he'd played today.

I'm getting a bit worried as to why Martinez still plays him..every game its like not only starting with a goal down but frightens the defence as well.

One major concern i have....surely anyone would drop him for Robles by now.

Have to disagree with you if he has just as much to blame than Stones. Maybe he should have been slightly quicker but the pass wasn't even hit hard enough back to him and probably wasn't expecting Stones to play him the ball once he taken an age to do so. Stones creates the problem instead of just booting it away or playing it back straight away. Howard is still crap though, been saying that for ages.
Respect what you're saying but you're wrong.

Behave mate, I have criticised Howard in here and still think he is not good enough but that was no way his fault. Stones should either boot it away or play the ball straight back to Howard yet he takes ages to do so and doesn't even hit the pass back to him. It's Stones' fault.
Behave. Stones should have either got rid or played the ball earlier, but Howard wasn't paying attention, he was caught on his heels and his reaction time was that of an auld duffer. His wild swing that cleaned out Ayew was truly pathetic. Awful goalkeeping and simply inexcusable

when will we all wake up from this nightmare. I have never seen such an inept footballer keep his place, it's almost like pub team football ,nobody else want's to go in goal, oh ok let timmy stay then.

So you agree Stones should have dealt with it so none of this would have happened? He probably was expecting a hospital ball after he could have give it him straight away. The ball wasn't even passed hard enough to him. He was on heels and should have done better there, I will agree with you on that one.

So Robles doesn't criminally under hit a back pass and saves a massively deflected goal?
It was deflected yes, but he has to react. Other GKs do. I tell you what, that wouldn't have got past Butland. No chance. As for the backpass: that was the pair of them. Indecision was final there.
