From the youtube compilation I've just watched he basically looks like he's going to be replacing Onana. Looks lanky, breaks up play with his tackles and likes driving with the ball.
Have to say I don't mind that at all. Go in with Gueye as the starter beside Garner and ease this lad into first team football, hopefully to be ready for the year after when Gueye leaves. Could turn out to be smart business.

Well the last defensive midfielder we bought from Villa didn't work out too bad for us, their fans also said at the time he was crap too, so I definitely wouldn't write him off at all. Imagine we're probably not gonna see too much of him in the team until he's probably around 22 though, Garner was the same. Interesting to see if Onana goes, if we'd stick this lad in or go for a more "ready" replacement.
Surely we're doing some kind of deal where Onana swans off to Villa for a fee that suits us PSR wise.
