What surprised me most was his leadership when the young lad joined him in midfield. Could clearly see him talking and instructing him. He looks very mature for his age, really hope he is allowed to develop in this positive manner and not get turned into a chess piece. As good a start from an unknown ‘cheapo’ as I can recall, good luck to the lad and hope it continues

Technically competent, tidy, self confident, and moments of tenacity. Won’t be worried seeing him playing or coming off the bench. Very very early, and there are reasons he’s had to come here to continue his career, but fair play to him. Just nice to see a young lad not taking the perfectly valid excuse of “settling in”. Get on the pitch and just play sodding football as you have been trained to do every day for the last 10 years.
