2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

He's got a tendency to get drawn out of position, technically he's got the tools but he needs to work on his positional sense.

Noticed this against Bournemouth.

Hopefully it gets ironed out on the Training ground.
Yep exactly this . I think he’s going to be a cracking player but not longer after he came on his positional sense , more that once , illustrated why he isn’t a dyche first choice .

I'm looking forward to Dyche noticing it at some point. He should have come on in the ten position with Doucoure remaining deeper.

Tim's got talent, but the midfield seems so open with him in it.

He's talented, no doubt.

But another the point he has to work on is to find the right time to pass the ball. He had some really severe ball losses in the own half this season that led to dangerous situations.

Iroegbunam not starting due to a lack of positional discipline makes no sense, if you look at whatever it is that Doucoure is doing. He's all over the place. Is he pressing? Is he lying deeper? Is he tucking in behind DCL as a false 9, or a 9 1/2?, or the top of a 442? Beats me.

I'd rather have the kid start and learn his trade. At least he has the legs to recover from his mental errors. Doucoure no longer does.

Is that now what a coach should do i.e. coach that out of him. Dyche not noticing it speaks volumes.
