2024/25 Tim Iroegbunam

So he's fifth choice CM it seems... I feel bad for him - He's should be in contention for starting IMO ... feel worse for Armstrong though (seriously, what was the point of him being on the bench as sixth choice CM when Dixon could have RB behind Young & Garner)

Yeah I don't mind a switch to deal with the Tonoli/bruno axis.

I think we need legs to cover the RB especially from CM, would it be mental to move McNeil after his matchwinning game and bring an extra CM like Tim in so we can do that?
We played Ashley young right wing last time against them. Could do that?

Tim has already played in seven league and cup games for us. He will be involved throughout the season.

He is still only 21 and has a lot to learn but seems to have everything to become a very good footballer.

Training every day with players like Gana is the best thing for young players like him as he learns what is required. The same is true for Armstrong.

Dixon at full back will also benefit from both Coleman and Young who can teach him so much even though they are both past their sell by date as players.

In 2003 he scored 11 goals, granted split over two half seasons.

Last season he was our joint top goal scorer in the league.

We haven’t won a PL game without him in almost two years.

Since dropping back into the engine room we’ve brought home 4 points from two.

There is statistical anomalies and there are trends in terms of impact and effectiveness mate.
We have barely played a game without him for almost 2 years. 5 seasons with Doucoure, 4 seasons battling relegation. We have been terrible for those years. If 2 matches is a trend where we can judge a player based on team performance, how much more so 70 matches?

@Neiler has posted the stats over the period of his everton career, when he has and hasn't played. You are defeating your own argument.
