For all of the Benitez supporters claiming that no one else could do a better job in this situation....can you explain his continued reliance on Rondon.

He brought him to the club , he's played him when he was truly terrible and now he brings him on even when we have other attacking options on the bench.

I'm genuinely baffled.

EVENING TOFFEES

Personally, I wouldnt sack him, we have had a terrible injury crisis all season and we are currently in the middle of a toe-curling fixture list.

As Mikey says above, see what happens if we ever stop having players dropping like flies.

Sure a new manager would come in with different ideas and might do things better, but lets see how bad it is at the end of Jan for now, I mean I think it will pretty, pretty bad, but lets see.

Good to see you back posting, hope all has been ok MG

What we need is stability right now and we won’t get that if we keep changing managers.

Mind you we also need a long term strategic plan and we don’t seem to have one of those either.

Hi mate

We should sack Benitez so we can not feel embarrassed watching our team

The clowns who make decisions would probably pick ole solskjaer. We need a Moyes all over again.

Benitez is Moyes...Moyes is Einhorn...

:p

When we first had Moyes we had solid pro's who wanted to stay and play at Everton, now they want to get back to their mansions to instagram what they are doing tonight. You can no longer shout a team into shape anymore but Benitez like Moyes given time will organise us and get a certain level of player who will try and compete. It's just patience required at this stage and a will to see past his previous employers.

My mate is a ST holder at Leeds and tells me Biesla will finish end of this season and it’ll be best for everyone as it’s all gone stale
Leeds looked anything but stale in the 1st half v Spurs.

They were tremendous and only poor finishing was the reason they weren't more than 1 up.

Were we not embarrassed losing at home to Fulham, Sheffield United and others last season.
Embarrassed under fat Sam.
Embarrassed losing to Norwich and conceding 5 in the Derby a few days later under silva .
Embarrassed under koeman getting hammered by arsenal etc ..
Yes we were embarrassed. But I'm not talking about being embarrassed by individual results.

I am embarrassed to be a supporter of the club these days though thats the difference. This Everton doesn't represent me or the club. How can anyone get behind this team?

The fact people defend this rubbish that is being served up reflects how the club have zero standards.

We have had this for the last 10 years .
Benitez hasn't embarrassed us anymore then the previous managers.

What will sacking Benitez do to change any of that. Out of curiosity?
It allows us to start making all the other changes we need to make. And there are a lot.

We need a long term manager with modern ideas who will completely rebuild the squad and entire club. You cant carry out a rebuild while you have totally the wrong manager.

Nothing changes overnight by changing the manager. But nothing starts to get better until the manager is changed. We need a unifying force in charge who will be supported through the initial issues. We need everyone pulling in the one direction.

I cant watch this team right now because they aren't an Everton team. Anyone claiming things will turn around under Benitez is ignoring decades of evidence and is clinging on to false hope in my opinion.

Other teams have made the right call to replace their manager. We for some reason are allowing the inevitable to be delayed. Everyone knows how this ends - we've all watched enoughof Everton.
