Goat

Player Valuation: £380m
I think now the time has come for Bill Kenwright to leave. We are on course for yet another top6 finish and we still have no money to invest in the Summer. The stadium is sold out on a regular basis, we had a long run in the Carling and Uefa Cup last season, which brings with it increased revenue through ticket sales and other things.

We have been on the Tele a few times already this season so we should have a bumper payout with regards to TV monies, our wage bill is 1 of the most manageable in the league and yet we still get outspent year in, year out by teams with crap fanbases and crap prospects.

There are currently 35,000 shares in Everton Football Club, most of which are owned by Bill Kenwright. These shares are valued at £1300 each. This makes a total of £45million. The club has debts of over £60million. When Kenwright bought the club we had debts of £20m.

The playing squad has improved. That is the only improvement that we have, some would say thats all that matters, i disagree. The facts are simple. The only assets the club have left are the playing staff, the dead duck that is now Bellefield and a highly mortgaged and falling apart Goodison Park. We dont even own Finch Farm.

The man has failed on every single level of business management, he has divided Evertonians with his lame Destination Kirkby move. A stadium thats not even better than Goodison Park and yet he wishes to move the club from its home. He has not invested 1 penny of his own money in the club. He doesnt take a salary yet he enjoys the prestige and revels in the fact that is the Chairman of our great Club. He takes expenses from the Club and other minor perks related to the job, yet he fails at every turn to improve our cashflow.

Some will say, i have even said it myself, "How can he sell, noboby has got any money?". Its simple, as i said earlier the club is valued at £45m, he paid less than this to buy. So if he came out tomorrow and said he was selling the club for £50m he would get people biting his hands off. If hes such a big blue he would want the club to improve, If hes such a big blue he wouldnt want to make a profit selling the club, If hes such a big blue he would leave.

But he wont, hes greedy little vermin, he wants this DK mess to go through, then he can make more money, then he will sell, then he will disappear. And we will be left with a ground that NOBODY wants.

These are the facts, Bill Kenwright only cares about Bill Kenwright and money, he doesnt love this club, he doesnt care about this club. If he stays in the summer the club will not have any money to spend on players unless we sell. He cant borrow anymore money and any money we get in prizemoney will have to be spent on wages and loan repayments, simply because his business management is so dire.

So i beg you Bill, for the sake of "our" Club, sell up. Advertise the club for sale at £50m, you still make a few bob and we will get a chairman this Football Club deserves. Bill it really is time to go.

Been saying this for ages. Of course you'll get his usual sidekicks claiming that he stood in the boys pen and wants the best for Everton and always tells the truth.

He's gonna ruin this club and let all the hard work put in by the players and the best manager we've had since Kendall go to waste.

But he stood in the boys pen and wants the best for Everton and always tells the truth.

He's also been looking for investment 24/7 for 10 years.

KenRIGHT in! (y)

The same applies. Is there anyone out there who wants to buy the shares and still have a few billions left for investment.

I will get the ouija board out. Watch this space.:)

How obvious is it to see that Kenwright is just hanging onto Everton because it's the only thing that he has left.

He brought his toy, played with it and is now ruining it.

Bored bored bored look don't care what you say he is not that bad and is no where near the man you portray him to be and no one wants to buy us FACT

...he wants this DK mess to go through, then he can make more money, then he will sell, then he will disappear. And we will be left with a ground that NOBODY wants.

<stands and applauds>

I actually believe he's convinced himself that leaving the club on the basis you describe is a good thing: that he gets a wedge of cash that recompenses his time put in as director and chairman of the club, and there is a new stadium and, therefore, an improvement in viewing and comfort standards - regardless of design standards, identity and the actual physical effort of transportation to it.

If the rumours are to be believed that a new owner is already lined up regardless of a yes or no to Destination Kirkby then we wont have too long to wait to see the back of this character.

Right now, I firmly believe that continuity will benefit us over the next couple of seasons.

People have been telling us for years that Kenwright's going to be our downfall, yet here we are again - closer to 5th in the league than 7th and playing our best football in 20 odd years.

Also, if we're valued at £45m with £60m worth of debt, any prospective buyer would have to throw £105m at the club just for starters, then provide funding for a more favourable ground move as well as the expected increase in transfer and wage budgets.

So, way I see it, until someone willing to toss around £250m our way comes along, we haven't got many choices.

Well....Scolari has just been sacked for not challanging to silverware as they hoped.

Now....do we want someone like Abramovich to come in and do that to our club because maybe we dont meet their expectations?

Playing the devils advocate really.

We do need money.

You were doing well until

But he wont, hes greedy little vermin, he wants this DK mess to go through, then he can make more money, then he will sell, then he will disappear. And we will be left with a ground that NOBODY wants.

We don't know that and I think we owe Bill enough not to throw unfounded accusations at him. It's also worth bearing in mind giving the shenanigans at Chelsea and Portsmouth today that sometimes a rich benefactor isn't all he's cracked up to be.

There are two general approaches to football, the organic approach followed by Man Utd, Arsenal, and dare I say it, ourselves whereby football activities are funded by commercial income. The success of the first two, and indeed our own success, is a fair testament to this route I think.

The second approach is the wealthy benefactor route taken by Chelsea, Man City et al where money has been thrown at their respective clubs and no care given to breaking even. I think the long-term success of this approach is also clear to see.

So yes I think BK does have to step aside both for someone with slightly more money and with better commercial acumen, but I hope to god that we don't abandon the patient approach we've employed so far and get a chairman who's all boom and bust.
