I hope this is a joke, i dont doubt that he has done some half decent work in the past. But now is clearly the time for him to leave. As i say all he needs to do is prove what a massive blue he is and sell the club for its value. Which is £50m, they will be queing round the block.
No joke mate, im a huge Bill fan i dont think hes the buissness brain of the century nor do i think hes not without his faults.
I do think he saved the club from the massive pile of Manure we were facing into and for that he will always have my total and utter gratitude and admiration. He put his money were his mouth was and showed the goolies to step up to the plate, in partnership with the manager he is a part of all that we are now, and credit is due.
We have become greedy, i have become greedy i want more! Do i think Bill should go, i do, i and i would assume anyone else who supportes him does as well.
The question is this really do i think he doest have the best intrest of the club at heart, i dont! Do i trust him to do the right thing for the club, i do! Do i think he would step aside if he felt the right man was there to take the club to a level he has said he admittedly cant, i do. Do i think hes holding on to the club to make a mint, or useing it as a "play thing£, i dont" and shame on anyone who does.
I beleive hand on heart, despite what people say they also beleive the above to be true, those who dont i feel sad for them, and i feel sad for the club that many of the values that have been passed down in our traditon have been lost. By turning on one of our own, who i beleive doesnt have an ounce of malice or contempt for our club.
He will step aside and when he does, he will leave a leacey that future generations will enjoy, and the fact he saved, preserved and passed on the traditon of our club for future generations not even born makes the man a legend.
So everyone can get a boner about who we will or wont buy in the summer, and whinge like babies and beg for a billionaire and who knows we may get our wish of a billionaire, and be like Man City or Chelsea and be a part of the Sky Four that we all enjoy giving out about, or maybe a Spurs, Newcastle West Ham who can blow 50 mill in a season.
If that happens, a peice of Everton will be lost, maybe its innevitable, what i felt last Wednsday, was pride, hounor, dignity, and integrity when/if that goes at our club no matter how successfull i will always think fondly of the Kenwright era.
Im not wiriting this to be controverisal as its not my style, nor am i doing it to chime in with what the majority think as im not that easily influenced, what i base my opinion on is the past-whats already occured, the present and the success we have acheived, and the future- and i beleive and trust in Bill to pick the right future for the club.
Legend!
