Udderly delicious

Indeed. Some of us are pulling on tits long before then.
Madness

Maddens me that even at this stage the modern way is to cover bits up with tarp so Joe public cant see the debris. Knowledge us power etc.I see pictures of the submersible being recovered have appeared online. From what people were saying happened i didn't expect to see huge parts come back up.

Shockwave will have done for it as the pressure tried to equalise? With it being certified to 1300m or whatever number was less than half that of the 3800m depth they've recovered it at. No word on mobile phones, or cameras yet?Maddens me that even at this stage the modern way is to cover bits up with tarp so Joe public cant see the debris. Knowledge us power etc.
Things like the landing gear would have been unaffected by the pressure. There is no sign of the carbon fibre/resin cylinder which would have been my major suspect for failure. Notably there's no glass in the porthole. It either shattered in the implosion or was removed so that sling could be put through it. I would suspect the former.
Shock wave would likely have pulverised much of what was inside.Shockwave will have done for it as the pressure tried to equalise? With it being certified to 1300m or whatever number was less than half that of the 3800m depth they've recovered it at. No word on mobile phones, or cameras yet?
Indeed, struggling with the knowledge I got from the 'dolphin' tragedy I read last week about the tiny gap some guy was minced through. Utterly frightening.Shock wave would likely have pulverised much of what was inside.

I do think your take on this is odd.My only regret is not showing sympathy for the young lad.
Hardly a complete 180.
And I thought I was depressed before hand. Dark that. It's been a long day.I do think your take on this is odd.
It's like someone on the dole celebrating people who have managed to work hard to get a week in Spain dying on a plane crash going there.
That's it. Once it reached a certain depth the pressure vessel was nothing more than a Smarties tube. The auxiliary stuff in the top picture is separate to the cabin, each part would have it's own pressure tested material and wouldn't have much air inside to implode anyhow.
The bottom picture shows clearly why this type of sub failed. Having a separate piece mated to the carbon fibre tub instead of it being all one piece made out of the same material meant when it went pop the tougher front piece was just ejected as all the attachments failed first.
And everything inside just ceases to exist. The auxiliary stuff in the top picture is separate to the cabin, each part would have it's own pressure tested material and wouldn't have much air inside to implode anyhow.

Yeah, I believe (please correct me if I am wrong anyone) it's something to do with the huge shift in pressure that happens so fast that it ignites the air and essentially instantly vapourises any poor soul inside. And everything inside just ceases to exist.
I forget where I read it but some boffin said people turn from Biology to Physics instantly under such pressure.
Charming.

Likely faster than it would take for your brain to even register anything had happened. Also means there's probably no bodies left to be found.
Maybe a bit of both? Let's check off all the cards in 'Horrific ways to die bingo'Doesn't the nitrogen in the blood turn into gas bubbles and erupt, instantly boiling you alive from the inside out? I may be getting mixed up with something else.
