City have got a lot of injuries to key defenders at the mo, so the next few games could be make or break their title hopes.

Plus not buying a striker could well come back to bite them.

Chelsea looking to be in the driving seat the mo, but it`s still early days.

City just look unbalanced now. The 17/18 team was close to perfection with Fernandinho sitting De Bruyne and Silva ahead of him, then Sane Sterling on the flanks with Aguero in the middle. Pace outwide and creativity in a perfectly balanced team.

This current version just looks lopsided, it’s sometimes both Rodri and Fernandinho, then there’s Gundogan playing at 10 sometimes, De Bruyne out wide right or playing false 9, Grealish on the left, Foden on the right but sometimes it’s Jesus who isn’t playing down the middle anymore.

Guardiola just seems to have gone too deep into his own head and got lost

City need a LB and a ST. He then needs to work out how he wants to set out his midfield and they will be back in control. The injuries to 2 CBs haven't helped but I still make them favourites just.

No wonder Pep seems a bit on edge, he got a massive gaping hole in his squad and the window is shut, no one will be selling a top striker in January, so Pep has to make do with what he has upfront.

Wasted the whole summer trying to buy a Striker from a chairman who's one of the most difficult to prise players from who loves a bit of brinkmanship selling at the last minute, they could have gone early on Lakaku and Ronaldo and got him snapped up before United an Chelsea did, Lautaro Martinez and Andre Silva were available or could have even broke the bank for Haaland.

Just a bizarre situation this summer from them.

I'm counting City out of this race, doesn't seem a happy club right now and have a testing week with 3 tough games where they could end up 9 points behind and a bit of a injury crisis to boot.

Haaland's clause activates in January doesn't it?

Ronaldo first choice was United
Lukaku first choice was Chelsea
Haaland was never moving this season

Why they went for kane
Exactly. Kane isn't happening and there is a top class striker available for very little in January. I can see him going to City.

The only thing I can see stopping it is Raiola being a mutant and City not wanting to go near his players.
