Quotes always make rumours seem more plausible. Then again they might have checked the source and verified it, maybe it's true, who knows!? Maybe Toby is making up the back three together with Stones and Duffy when we line up against Betis?

I'm one of the last people you'll see slating our players. I'm a staunch defender of Osman and Pienaar against critics. But for the past year, Heitinga has not looked arsed whenever I see him. It's very hard to defend a player who is not putting forth the effort. He is the player we need to most unload from our squad this transfer window.
 
Why would we be in for this fella when Bob has the bird-man in from Wigan? sorry does,nt add up for me...get the sick note back on the pitch and have him earn his wedge.
 

Not only is it his wages, he won't be signing a new contract. It's up soon i think so try and recoup as much as we can from what we bought him for.

Just looked it up, at the end of the season his contract is up. 30.06.2014.

looking to the future perhaps? Our first three CB's in the depth chart are all in their 30's... Jags (30), Distin (35), and Alcaraz (31).
