I will be very surprised if Martinez goes for Alderweireld given his track record of his transfers at this club.
Papertalk at the moment although as I have said, I would be extremely happy if we sign Alderweireld.

Don't you agree he signed players that he is familiar with i.e those 3 former Wigan players. I do think those 3 signings have probably eat up more than half of our budget.

He has addressed areas of the squad he thought painfully obviously needed filling. He has bought players that understand him and would make his transition easier in to the job and make the teams transition of styles easier. It may not work but I can understand them. We also don't know our budget or how much this collection of players cost, because nobody says anything ever. You cant really judge the signings he has made until they perform or stink the place up.
