This is true, he was sat at home on the phone to his agent thinking about a move whilst watching sky sports. next thing the Everton manager came on tv talking about a knife to a gun fight and we will do our best to compete with the big boys etc.

He's in the last year of his contract.

Also, Mirallas cost us around £6m and we only had limited competition from one club in Arsenal. Coleman cost £60k and we had no competition. The price tag and interest doesn't necessarily mean anything about player quality.
