Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

Since they got into the PL they have started off each season fairly strong. Pundits have talked them up as dark horses for European qualification and said what a wonderful job Howe has done with the resources on offer to him. Then from November to March they've gone on a slump that they manage to rectify and finish just close enough away from the bottom 3 that they weren't mentioned as strugglers.

They don't look like turning their form around. I'm not sure that Howe can find another way to play football than he does. They've spent a fair bit, and large sums on player's who don't look capable of delivering in this league.

I'm not sure whether Bournemouth would sack him given what he's done for the club, but maybe he has ran his course there. There's also a part of me that wonders whether Harry Redknapp will turn up there as 'saviour'.

They've always had these swoons where they are just obliterated for like a month and a half but he also traditionally had streaks where they pick up a bunch of points in a short period of time. So wouldn't count them out yet. Soton was relegated just a month ago. NUFC, Brighton, Burnley look like they could sink down to the championship.

I'd be very surprised if Howe was sacked, or resigned for that matter.

People forget the sheer volume of injuries they've had this season (more than any other side) including how many key players they've had out too.

Even top sides wouldn't be able to cope with that sort of injury list, let alone a small team like Bournemouth.

I still don't reckon they'll go down, they've got too much quality with players like Ake, Lerma, Wilson, Fraser, King and Wilson.

Providing they keep them fit, I reckon they'll turn it around.
Howe shouldn't be hounded out. Hes basically got that club up from the bottom of the football league to a stable Premier league club.

Even if they go down they should stick with him, he could easily get them back up.

They'll totally sack him.... It's a money business and the owners won't want to be relegated... They'll be well aware of the new manager bounce teams tend to get, they'll be looking at how Watford have come back from the brink... Howe's there 7 years now, he's had a few injury problems but just like we found we Moyes, things can eventually go stale when you're at a club a long time...

Next 3 games for them are Norwich, Brighton and Villa... 3 huge 6 pointer games for them.....question is if they have someone available to replace him now, do they act before those games... If they're still bottom 3 after those games he's definitely finished...

On Bournemouth, browsing the Telegraph just now, and their report, by Jim White, (the decent one) says, "As every pub quizzer knows, they are are one of 3 clubs never to be relegated from the top flight".

Thats nonsense isnt it? Every other club in the current PL have been relegated at some point.

Chelsea have been relegated.... But since being renamed 'Frank Lampard's Chelsea' they haven't....

And its likely Sky don't recognise the times Liverpool were relegated..

So yeah ... That's 3 clubs that have never been relegated

From the top flight, maybe correct.
This must be the first time they've been there and haven't got relegated.. yet.

Nonsense I think yeah.

Since the start of the Premier League in 1992, seven clubs have never faced the drop: Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

However, there are no English clubs currently in existence that have never been relegated from the country’s top division. Arsenal are the team with the longest run since they were last relegated

Just think it's arl arse if they do. Considering what he's done for that club.
