happy with a few months of Quique Setien instead of more Valverde. I’m a big fan and interested to see what he can do. He will probably get another shiny toy up front before January closes too, due to Suarez injury. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go again in the summer though with another coach.

Ive struggled to drum up the interest to go to the games since that CL semi, this will help with that. It’s been money thrown away up until now.

Bartomeu should be ran out of the club. Ego driven decisions followed by disruptive commerce driven decisions.

and of course Valverdes been completely disrespected in all of this.

Just like every other top club then, sacking whomever they please, if you don't kowtow to the owners or you do something they don't like you get shown the door. Owner asserting his authority. Perfect example is Ancelotti, dismissed at Napoli for publically disagreeing with the owner.

Disgraceful for a club like Barca to win the league two years running and getting rid of the manager.

It was Actually said not long after the 2017/2018 season ended that there would be a 2week break so quite a while ago with probably the odd thing said about it from then till now, with them doing it the way they are doing it, so we would still have some prem games both weekends instead of a full 2 week break with no prem footy, i was not a fan of the winter break at all but can take it this way with footy still both weekends - the deal was also that when your on that 2 week winter break that you cant suddenly go and fly to america to play friendlys to make up the time etc
