PJ: What a solid performance from Harry Maguire as well! He read the game so well n made some very timely interceptions! Looks like we got our money's worth!!

hahahahaha bloody hell, football fans are turning into a massive joke these days. He was marking tammy abraham and his great record in the championship. A bbc reporter said neil maupay has paid back every penny to brighton after he scored a 3rd in their 3-0 win yesterday.

chelsea had more possession, more shots, more on target, more corners, hit the woodwork twice. This was a fluke result from united, let's be honest.

Lampard’s appointment could end up being so disastrous that Chelsea fans will be wishing even Benitez was back as manager. You have a transfer ban, you know you’re losing the player that carries this side and you appoint a novice instead of an experienced manager? Personally would be glad to see them fall out of the top 6 and never get back in. Horrible arrogant club from board to most of the fan base.

Yep. One of those. We have all had them.

Thing is, will Lampard be able to convince his players of that?

If you sort the league table alphabetically, and you start the alphabet with L then they are top of the table.
Leicester say "Hiya". Usual suspects all off and running. Also Leeds getting a bit hacked off by the reemergence of Sheffield teams in the Championship.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo said video assistant referee decisions are affecting "the spirit of the game" after his side had a goal ruled out in their scoreless draw at Leicester.

so because they scored by using a handball, it's affecting the spirit of the game. Yep, i mean breaking the laws isn't in the spirit of the game? Shut up you doughnut, VAR was brought in to stop injustices like this happening, you'd have never said that if it was the other way around. He'd have been screaming for VAR if leicester won 1-0 with a handball.

dunno, it's a transition season for them, may be a few season's actually. They made a poor choice appointing him, but they have so with a look to the future so they can't just sack him after a year like all the others.

"What I'm concerned about is, let's not ruin the game," said Nuno.

"It's what fans come for, to celebrate a goal, not to celebrate a no goal - that's not the real celebration of football.

"It's not good for the atmosphere of football. The Leicester fans were celebrating the no goal. That's not the mindset of the game. Six months ago it would've been a goal, so that is an issue for VAR.

"We have such a nice Premier League, such a product, we cannot lose that. Two minutes the game stopped. The anxiety of us celebrating, then we waited - it's not the spirit of the game."

Chelsea fans, well fan, I see every day, (ex Headhunter nutjob sort), isnt remotely arsed. As in where they finish, as long as its not bottom 3, which it wont be. He sees this season as a totally free hit. No expectation, free to bring all sorts of young players in, and some might prove to be good enough longer term.

In a way, its quite a nice way to approach a season.

Why not? Chelsea are hardly known for their loyalty to managers who don't succeed. In fact, they have virtually no loyalty to managers who do succeed.
