We can win. They are bound to lose somewhere.

Doesn't mean we will win obviously.

It´s frustrating because even if Ancelotti gets us playing well we are up against so much competition. There are 7 other teams out there who will think they should be above us. To get above some of them our transfer strategy will have to be almost flawless, the players we already have will have to improve and we will have to get some luck along the way. I know that´s really negative but it´s realistic as well.
Not necessarily. The league is bang average apart from the RS and City (not their defence).
We are also bang average, but our manager is far more experienced than the ones at Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal. We also have some good young players kicking on this year (Richy, Holgate and DCL).
I'm not getting ahead of myself but there's no reason why we can't progress (other than Everton aren't we?).

City are closer to Sheff Utd in the league, worst defence of a title since Leicester.

City aren’t a million miles off where they were last year though. Prior to this weekends fixtures, I think they’d only lost one more than they had at this stage last season.

It’s not been a poor performance from City, it’s been unprecedented consistency from a great side that were excellent last season too, and will probably break a few more records this season.

I don’t think anyone can really argue that City have been ‘bad’ because they will still likely clear 85-90 points which is often enough to be champions.

City need to go and spend big yet again on 3 or 4 players because they need a couple of CB’s and a couple of CM’s as it stands, perhaps even a replacement for Sane if he goes to Bayern.

I’m not sure Pep stays either to be honest, give it another 12 months max as there are already grumbles coming out, which will set them back even further.

The other 7 teams all have better squads than us right now though. If we got on and get 6th this season or next season, great achievement considering what we´ve got. There is so much work to do for us to get to where we want to be, we shouldn´t delude ourselves otherwise.
