Its a winning mentality thing - Utd had it the 90-00s with the likes of Danny Eagles, Luke Chadwick - looked world beaters for them surrounded by Beckham , Butt etc etc

My guess would be United also had a club philosophy that meant anyone coming into the team who had been at the club would know what to do.

Exactly that. Even their very best players wouldn't look as good as they do at different clubs. The system works perfectly for them.

I was at Tranmere this afternoon, collecting money for a worthwhile cancer charity. I spent the match in the Bebington Kop. I have to say the atmosphere was amazing. They sang from start to finish. Deffo the way to enjoy football.
