José's subs work again

Saints will be sick

José will be busy telling everyone how he turned it around
The funny thing is they've been worse than under Poch, but football is a dumb game where teams can go 5 or 6 games without playing well and still get results. They were battered by City who couldn't finish and even tonight were outshot 15-9 by Saints at home.

As opposed to Ronaldo's selfless example?

Leadership at Barca is a problem that someone needs to push to fix fwiw.
Ronaldo is a vastly superior leader in my opinion, I know the media narritive that him loves himself etc etc but on the pitch for club and country he is a fighter who tries to get the best out of everyone. Would have him over the little shoulder shrugger every day of the week

Suit yourself I guess. Messi's consistency week in and week out is why his team win the league every year. I value that highly.

I mean, if his subs did turn it around then it’s on him.

Players go down now and strikers are clever enough to exploit a possibility where doing so may bring a pen. Whether that's a dive or not a player absolutely must go down to win a pen and most know it and will anticipate contact even if the result in is either minimal or no contact at all.

Can you blame the players as what happens when you're legitimately contacted and stay on you're feet?

Ask Theo Walcott a few games back

The referees severely punish players who are 'fair' and desperately try to stay on their feet, no pen hard luck you stupid mug is their message.

Blame Son, not me not one bit.

The var official can sometimes be powerless if the ref has a clear view of the incident and rules on it anyway even if the ref makes an absolute clanger. Theo Walcott and many others know it too well.
