Lets be honest the PL have done themselves no favours with this - BLM regardless of how well intentioned the message is still is political and stuff like this was always going to happen.

Should have been for the first round of fixtures and left it as that.

The whole thing just feels like overkill and distortion of the original message.

Did he not play alongside Tommy Smith? Not a chance in hell he did not encounter racism within changing rooms back then.
