Terry HenryQuestion:
Who has won a World Cup winners medal without actually making his debut?
I think he has his strength and weaknesses. His strength is that he adapts - he's not an original thinker or theoretician - he's a bit of a Magpie who'll nick the latest shiny thing and use it to good effect. His weakness is that, though he talks a good game and seems to be able to convince the teams he manages he's got everything in hand, when things get tough he sounds hollow and clueless and loses respect. He'll fail at Leicester sure as eggs is eggs. But he might get a good season out of a handy squad before that happens.Hope everyone remembers that when we play them. I seem to remember people bemoaning the fact we couldn’t win away there after a 0-0 at Stamford Bridge last season.
I think Gerrard et al dictated to him exactly how Liverpool would play in that second season. The third season failed because he thought he was untouchable and went back to the slow possession game that he’s based his career on. He’s a decent manager but I don’t see him teaming the top 6 with this squad. I don’t see him as that much of an upgrade on Puel to be honest and I’d have Silva over him any day of the week.
Really?I didn’t think the Rodri one was a pen in fairness. It’s all still very subjective. Except the goal that was ruled out of course, that was definitively the correct decision. Just so gutting the way it played out.
Chelski are deeply unimpressive this year. Couldn't happen to a more deserving club. Absolute gang of mercenaries.
I think his reputation exceeds his actual ability. Sure he's got great potential but isn't quite top class yet.I like Maddison for Leicester.
Shame we didn't get him last summer.
He will cost many times what Leicester paid for him now.
