Yes, I agree but how many times at 0-0 or 0-1 did Jesus miss chances and games my have been drawn or won. Yes their defence has been poor at times. But its the truly great goal scorers who turn losses into draws and draws into wins.
They're got like 4-5 players on 10+ goals, Too many losses to some absolute garbage teams or Wolves where Mendy has a mare.
There defense is garbage.

KDB and Sergio are head and shoulders above everything they have.

Especially now that Sane has gone and David Silva is going.

If you want me to evaluate Citys transfers? They have been quite wasteful Mahrez is a good player, now and again and Wee Raheem is a player, but they spent 100m on Mendy and Walker.
I felt Walker was vital in their recent teams being good. It's hard to play the style they try to play without a few top level athletes in the side to cover a lot of the ground. Mendy is certainly a story of injuries but yes at the end of the day a bad purchase.

Regardless that squad is too good to be in midtable at best form as soon as KdB goes out of the side. And as was mentioned, it didn't happen last year, so I'm not really sure what is happening but it isn't good enough for them.

I think City, if they do or don't win the Champions League, will be signing a HUGE player.

The whole FFP and Pep contract issues added them winning the league, will lead the board to spend BIG.

David Silva loss is near irreplaceable but KDB, Bernardo Silva, Foden and Mahrez will more then make up for his brilliance.

Yeah I agree. I'm just trying to make a case for Jesus, who I don't think is good enough for this city team at this level. But I'm trying to point out even though not the best in front of goal he still creates chances for other players because of his work rate. As for scoring more goals than the RS they haven't won enough tight games. They've won games 3,4 and 5-0 at times but the close games when 1 would have done. Jesus has missed the mark. As the great Howard Kendall said, it's the 1-0 aways on a cold January night that wins you the league.

Liverpool have been good this season, REALLY good, but they are 20 odd points ahead of a City side who finished above them last season.

9 defeats for City this season.

I would imagine Pep ain't pleased.
