Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

Cos people seen City dismantle them and decided to write them off despite the fact they’re gonna do that to the vast majority teams this season. There’s a lot of goals in their attack. Diop looks like a very good centre half too.

Unsure about their full backs and Mark Noble still being a Premier League footballer but they have some very good players.
Mark Noble has to be in their team due to his East Londoner status. But yeah, their first game against City is no indication of their true quality. A team with a strike force of Yarmolenko, Haller, Lanzini, Anderson, Fornals is no joke and probably on paper, the best outside of top 6.

I’m watching all these teams on motd and I’m just sat here thinking “why the hell do we not get any of these jammy goals?!”. We make everything so hard for ourselves.

That’s a straight red for Tielemans. VAR looked at it and didn’t give anything. What is the point?

He has to be banned in retrospect surely?

Judging by the decisions so far mate they aren't bothering with VAR at all and the refs are all on beak binges.

If you ain't seen the Villa goal you'll love the ref on that one
Oh I saw that one, I was calling for VAR but now I realise it’s a tool to make referees more incompetent. The VAR bloke should be able to say “no mate this one is wrong and we’re calling it back whether you like it or not”. It’s actually made the game more of a laughing stock

Yep, it's just become a joke. Carries on like this I won't be arsed with togger much longer because the refs are looking like bigger corrupt knobheads more than usual.

Few weeks ago, I mentioned West Ham along with us Leicester and Wolves, in terms of challenging top 6 and I was laughed at. 4 games in and they look fantastic, aside from that game against City.

Good side West Ham. Had so many injuries last season. If they keep Lanzini fit, they’ll be a great shout for top 7.

Haller looks a great signing thus far if he can carry on his Eintracht form. I don’t think Lanzini, Felipe Anderson, Diop or even Yarmolenko would look out of place in a top six side. Very good players but match fitness and injuries were a huge issue for them last year. They essentially lost 5 or 6 of their 1st choice XI for half the season.

Rice a good young player too. Pellegrini a very experienced manager who’s been successful everywhere he’s been. Seem to have many of the ingredients, particularly in attack but need it all to click.

Me too, I’m pretty fed up with the sport in general anyway. I’d say they might change it after learning from mistakes this season but then I remember it’s the FA and they won’t see any of these as mistakes.
