VVD bloody hell

All this means is there are more Liverpool fans watching sky sports news or online on twitter etc during the day that are also prepared to actually vote in some completely unscientific poll, it is always along strictly partisan lines anyway, most will vote for their own club's player.

(You could possibly even vote an awful lot of times if you were that bothered about it)

Absolutely meaningless

This is why social media polls are bs.
After just 18months with that lot he's now the best defender in the premier league era.
Terry
Carvalho
Adams
Campbell
Vidic
All multiple league title winners, some champions league winners, all proven over a long period of time . Not 18 months. Jesus wept.

he's still a fairly average centre back, this is all because the RS overpaid massively for him, their fans are desperate to try and vindicate the amount spent and pretend. Their heavy influence in the media means that this perception can be spread easily. I mean we're seeing similar with Maguire. He does nothing spectacular, he's just a solidish centre back, he did nothing praiseworthy on his debut and he was getting praised to hell and back, saying "great value for money" etc.

Ledley King was a better player than vvd.
Won the same amount of pl titles also.

Good to see Manchester City doing their bit for homelessness in Manchester with a game of footie. Might go a tiny bit of way to sorting out the problems their owners have created by getting cheap contracts to build around the north of the city coupled with cheap rent on a football ground. Will go a lot of the way to helping whitewash their reputation, of course.
Sound bitter ds, City's owners are in a 3 way partnership with Manshester city council and Great Places a leading housing association. The object being to provide affordable housing ineast Manchester, around the Etihad Stadium. If you had been waiting for a number of years for such housing as my sister has, I'm doubt if you would hold the same views. With regard to the "cheap rental" City pay, well that has nothing to do with the current owners, it was agreed subject to City moving into the stadium, after conversion from the original athletic design. Rent is payable on attendances over the 35,000 that Maine rd. held. So seeing no one goes to watch City this sum is pretty low! Hope this helps, all the best, see you in a couple of weeks in the Taxi Drivers.
