Koeman would probably still be here had he scraped some sort of result against Arsenal and clung on until all the Europa group games were done with. We'd have gone out, the side would have gathered itself and we'd have recovered to finish 8th, exactly as we did under Allardyce. Who knows how he and Walsh would have been viewed by Moshiri if that scenario had happened, would he have given another season to get it right?
