The curse of Europa league strikes again....

Yep,

Wolves really love the Europa League, as with so many other Europa 7th place qualifiers in previous years, the domestic campaign has been disastrous so far. Could they make their Europa season very special indeed by marking it with relegation too?

Highly unlikely i would say but what a nightmare 7th in the league seems to be for Europa qualifiers - as far as their domestic campaign goes that is

Nuno will be gone if this carries on much longer, they have plenty of money and ambition. It's a shame because he's a great manager but this is yet further proof that starting your season in July just kills you. We saw it for ourselves two years ago.

I'm convinced the Europa qualification and the terrible start contributed hugely to Koeman being dismissed here. Walsh's nighmare transfer window and a dreadful opening set of domestic fixtures hardly helped him either. Confidence was rock bottom by the time 'easier' fixtures arrived and we carried on struggling.

starting the season with actual games mid july , gives players a couple weeks holiday, no pre season, harder to get players in and settled, reeks havoc on the premier league for teams that haven't got two 11's to play like the big boys do

Koeman would probably still be here had he scraped some sort of result against Arsenal and clung on until all the Europa group games were done with. We'd have gone out, the side would have gathered itself and we'd have recovered to finish 8th, exactly as we did under Allardyce. Who knows how he and Walsh would have been viewed by Moshiri if that scenario had happened, would he have given another season to get it right?

I'm glad both gone like but the EL is the bane of managers' lives, hardly any seem to enjoy qualifying for it. Only people who enjoy them as us supporters for the away days.

Sound for the likes of man u arsenal n chelsea imo

Shame that Beardsley has ended up being a racist twonk

The fact he left Liverpool for us, scored in a Derby and then celebrated it always made me fond of him, but I'll have to reassess now

Some of the revelations coming out are quite damning aswell. Wouldn’t be surprised if he wore a white pillow case over his head whilst on the touchline the massive racist tube.

Are we all ready for the ferocious south coast derby?
Who needs Merseyside, North London or Sheffield when you can settle down for this titanic battle?
I beg your pardon; I almost forgot the Palace/Brighton 'derby'.
