The key is always looking to make small improvements. City should have bought an actual LB, binned off Otamendi and got another defender. All they did was get in Rodri who hasn't kept it nearly fresh enough. The RS will have the same problem if they don't buy midfielders, depth up top and possibly a better second CB next year. You can't ever sit still.

I said it last year when we chased Europa to our detriment and I'll say it again for this year. Once we are safe the goal should be long term planning. Play Gordon. Play Gibson. Play Kean. Experiment with formations. No real reason to chase 3 extra league spots and the 6m or whatever it is. Use it to build.
