WTF? Was his elbow offside?

His breath must have been offside or maybe his shadow because otherwise I have literally no idea how they can, with any level of certainty, say that is offside.

Giving the attacking team the benefit of the doubt has been the staple of football since the beginning, but now it's down to some plonker in a bunker.

That should never have been ruled out. VAR is now changing correct decisions into wrong ones!

If he was onside by 1cm he still would of controlled the ball and scored. The defender would have still been 5 yards behind him when he started that run and only just making the tackle.

If he was offside by a foot then yeah that advantage is clear.

But an advantage of 1cm (or less) wasn't a factor in him scoring that goal.

why does that matter? When the ball was played he was onside.
