PSG had a nailed on penalty to make it 1-1. Much of the blame has to go to Mbappe. He would have known his heel was kicked yet he didn’t make enough of it and just meekly appealed. Had he gone nuts as any intelligent pro would have done, the other PSG players would have joined in, ref surrounded, that gets properly looked at and the pen is given.

He’s right though. PSG were wasteful. Bayern nicked a goal out of nothing (30 seconds before the goal the BT Sport commentator said how much PSG would be happy with the way the game was going).

There were no stand out individual performances really, bar maybe Neuer, who had an excellent game.

Bayern doubled up on Neymar and crowded him out, almost sacrificed Muller at times to do it. Mbappe had loads of space and made nothing of it. Frustrating for a lot of players games like that when nothing seems to come off.
