Congratulations!

How do you feel about the match against Boca?

Also, how did Racing end up at the bottom of their group, focusing on the Libertadores?

Boca plays today the first leg vs Inter, and we will face the winner. If it's Boca I have a lot of faith on us, we beat them several times lately, but they had a very strong team, so ir really hope Inter eliminates them

Racing this year had a bad streak of 3/4 games at the start of the national cup, but we won the league last year so the team is focused on Libertadores

Solskjaer has to be to blame for not taking Fred off and doing the incompetent ref's job for him and while they should have cashed in instead of missing two glaring golden chances, Martial especially but even Cavani culpable, PSG survived and in Neymar always had the capability to punish such generosity from the hosts. The fact that Fred was harshly shown a red (second yellow) straight after by the still incompetent ref was only belated justice.

Neither side look anything like good enough to go very far although luck can play a big part in cup competitions and the right draw can open up a path. United looking the poor relation to the prem's other European Champions league teams and their domestic struggles probably confirm that.

Can we borrow Lampard's book ''How To Organise a Defence''?

Surely it can't be just Mendy the reason you've had so many clean sheets since he arrived. Or then again, maybe he is. Injection of confidence and communication can work wonders.

I suppose Silva settling in has had a big effect too

Don't think this should be understated though; a calm keeper breeds confidence. If defenders are always worried about an attacker getting a shot off because it'll most likely go in they can't be as confident in their own game.

Really think our defence wouldn't be so bad if we had a nice solid keeper behind.

Yep, frankly anyone would have been a marked improvement upon Kepa (and I was there when the legendary Les Fridge made his one and only appearance for us). Firstly Mendy is very tall and secondly he talks to his defence. He also comes for crosses. These are all a big improvement upon Kepa, for whom I do feel a bit of sympathy. I don’t think he’s been given much support but the bottom line is he’s crap and one of the worst signings made ever, by any club.

He surely didn't do himself any favours inside the club by refusing to be sibstituted at Wembley?

That was infuriatingly self-centred behaviour, but understandable to a degree as he was probably desperate to show that he isn’t crap by playing the hero in the impending pen shoot out. That didn’t exactly end well!

It's a shame that there are no fans for this.

I know Spurs have just scored but them leading the Premier League is a clear indication of how bad the standard is at the moment. An industrious, but essentially bang average 9 (whichever 9 Mourinho plays), plus Son and Kane. We’re no better either. We just have more money.
