Today’s Football 2020/21 Season

They've played the long game to an extent though. Guys like El Ghazi, McGinn, Mings and especially Grealish were all people with room to grow and they have grown which means they are a better team now than they were in January 2020. Add in really smart signings like Martinez (arguably the best keeper in the league currently) and Watkins and you've got a really strong side.

They've no depth like we have no depth but they aren't hurt. Best XI we are every bit as good I think but injuries matter.
Best 11 I think we're up there with almost anyone. Problem is obvious tho, how often do you EVER see your best 11? Squad depth is a massive part of the game because of so. We have 17 players we've spent 20m or more on and we still have almost literally no squad depth.

Barrow’s game called off today due to a frozen pitch. Loads of Exeter fans moaning about covers. Not really sure they understand how the weather works up here. That pitch ain’t defrosting for a long, long time.

There will be a lot of contentious decisions in the coming weeks to ensure a Utd vs Liverpool run in.
Bang on the money!
Last season they made sure Liverpool had won it before Christmas.
This year they need it a little closer. But a United / Liverpool top of the
table tussle between now and the end of the season is exactly what the Premier
League & SKY TV have been praying for for over a decade.

Atletico are 2 points ahead of Real Madrid with 2 games in hand!

Meanwhile, Sandro's Huesca sit in 20th with only 1 win so far and Valencia could be in trouble if Osasuna or Valladolid pick up some form

Very interesting La Liga season so far
