Thats the kind of poster you have become, the type that backs Everton to fail knowing they cant lose.

A shame.
I want us to win.

We are not playing well right now.

I want us to do the things that made us play well but because of injuries Carlo will not do it. Maybe he's right to do it this way but it has a ceiling.

And because we've just won four on the bounce doing this we are probably about to crash into that ceiling. I'm concerned because we've been handed a tremendous opportunity and we might screw it up by reacting too slowly. I mean people in the match thread think the issue was we played Coleman instead of the 4 CBs today as if 0-0 with West Ham is just dandy.

Or the type who isn't scared to have an opinion that goes against the grain incase the forum mafia bump em off.

I still laugh when 90% of the forum were convincing themselves Marco Silva was the answer and we were in transition.

I said tonight soon as I saw the team sheet it would be tough and I was proven right. The reality is we aint as good as we like to think we are and other teams around us aint as crap as some like to make out - I mean some STILL call Zaha/Ings crap when they would waltz into this squad fag in hand.
Well my record is flawless.

I said Martinez was plop
I said Koeman was plop
I said Silva was plop

Personally I don't see Everton winning a trophy ever again, well not till Im well in the ground anyway, that doesn't mean I didn't support every single 1 of those jokers and the jokers that come after them.

People watch games every day and they see players other teams have and they say "Everton sign them", every team in the league has at least 1 or 2 that would improve us, most teams have more. Theres not many players in our squad that we couldn't improve on. Hence us never doing anything, EVER.

So baring all that in mind, its dead, dead easy to predict Everton will fail, its what we do. But wheres the joy in accepting reality?

So its nothing to do with going against the grain, most of us follow Everton cos they bring us joy, in the good fleeting times, they bring happiness to our lives, I suspect some people never truly feel joy from Everton.

Misery loves company, it will never get mine.

So when Carlo leaves and we hire the next utter farce of a manager, I will support them, knowing deep down that hes destined to do zip, but hey, Everton arent we?

You mean Carlo wont do what YOU want him to do.

Its a cliche, but Carlo has forgotten more in the last hour than you or I will learn ever.

The problem is he isn't doing ANYTHING.

We spent the entire second half against the worst Arsenal team I've ever had the pleasure of watching hanging on, went to a team destined to be the worst PL team ever and scraped a win in a tight game and then lost to a classic no ambition Moyes performance and he did the exact same thing in all 3 games like he had 2011 Barcelona out there.

Just do something man please. I can't fix it but I can say that it isn't working currently. It's like how I can tell when my car is broken even if I can't open the hood and make it run again.

Everton has broken me mate - I mean if you were unlucky enough to not experience the 80's its hard to expect anything from this club when they do nothing but let you down - Its like telling someone who's missus has banged half of town to have optimism in your relationship lol

I think we'll finish above Villa like but no way will we get top 6 unless we invest this window - the squad just isnt good enough and Richarlison's poor form is killing us combined with injuries. My aim for the season before a ball was kicked was 7th so im happy with that but the opportunity we have now we simply have to take it and banish Toshun, Bernard, Siggurdsson, Davies as far away from the starting 11 as possible.

Not sure how you win the number of games he has this season by doing nothing. It wa s only a few weeks ago he was criticised for changing too much. Which is it?

He’s boosted our ppg from relegation form to European form.

His away record blows most premier league Everton managers out of the water.

He’s the only manager this season to manage 4 league wins in a row (he’s down it twice).

He somehow has this band of terrible footballers troubling the top 6 places in January despite having an injury crisis.

Apart from that you’re right, what is he doing at Everton?

I mean he hasn't done anything the last few weeks to address weak points. The first couple months we were great and it was down to Carlo in large part.

My biggest problem before the festive period was he kept trying that back three we don't know how to play.

He's obviously the best manager we've had in years but that also doesn't mean these extended runs were we struggle to create aren't a reflection of him on some level and this is the second such run as we also did it during that restart mess.

The funny thing is I'm frustrated for the opposite reason of you. I think we still have a great chance of not only top 6 but the CL spots. Hell we aren't totally dead for winning the damn thing. Yeah a boost in the window would be great (and not Khedira FFS) but I don't even think it is necessary as much as just getting back to playing well is. We fix some of our issues and we are as good as anyone but we've stumbled into some wins without doing the fixing and now we seem to think we can just not do it.

What

We're 4th in the table?? The only thing sad about that is we could be doing even better
Well obviously we could be doing better. I dunno, I just don't see where we are being sustainable. We SCRAPED a win against Sheffield Utd, we played terribly today, we played terribly when Richarlison was suspended, we've played pretty awful since. If this is all KITAP1 then fine but we don't REALLY have the players for that.

Heard today Carlo has never been lower than 6th with any club he's managed with a full season under his belt. Hopefully that continues one way or another!

How sad is that? A team that only survived relegation because VAR is incompetent is most likely going to do better than us?
They've played the long game to an extent though. Guys like El Ghazi, McGinn, Mings and especially Grealish were all people with room to grow and they have grown which means they are a better team now than they were in January 2020. Add in really smart signings like Martinez (arguably the best keeper in the league currently) and Watkins and you've got a really strong side.

They've no depth like we have no depth but they aren't hurt. Best XI we are every bit as good I think but injuries matter.
