There recruitment this summer was very good.

Annoys me how we started off very positive then just gave up and booted Kean/Walcott and not thought "hey our forward/wide options look a little depleted with a kid and midget our only options out wide and a 1 legged galoot as our back up foward".

Other teams seem to be able to collect pace and power across the pitch for decent prices. McGinn is the type of player we’ve been crying out for but instead we’ve kept getting slow unfit ponderous midfielders.

They bought a very good keeper and Barkley on loan.

We'd be mental paying £30mill for Ollie Watkins. And Bertrand = Iwobi.

Dean Smith's tweaked his core squad and has one of the best midfielders in the league to build a team around.

We should have been all over Martinez or atleast Romero - Pickford thankfully has calmed down a little but he still isn't good enough long term.

We didnt need Watkins but Barkley was a good loan signing and Traore whilst a mixed bag actually has a load of pace and has a go - he's scored more league goals than all our wide players including Richarlison (im not including James as a wide player as for me he's naturally more central).

Bernard and Toshun have to go this month and I would move on Delph as well.

Bring in 2-3 players who will boost the squad and right the wrongs of the summer.

We won't get that many in Jan. Will be 1 in regardless.

We've been bang average since the derby. More bad performances than good. We papered the cracks for a couple weeks and that's good but we're at another crossroads right now and have 3 tough games coming that will say a lot about where we are.

Villa have not been nearly as streaky.

Sorry if you don't want to hear that.

Great result tonight and a very good game . we are definitely improving probably should have had a couple more , villa played very well , too early to be talking about the Title but we have a chance if we can defend a bit better
