Yeah I watched the game , goalies do tend to just go for power and down the middle , last night's was similar , I think they'd get sussed out easy after a couple , let Pickers take the next one I'll get a couple of lads to catch it in the road .

No big fan of Howe, but this one is a bit harsh I think. He'd been there 11 years and taken them from the brink of non-league to the PL.
 

Don't know how accurate the article is but with the Hudson-Odoi stuff and now this it's just unreal how much completely unproven players believe they deserve each week.

Liverpool and Manchester United are paying close attention to contract negotiations concerning Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala, according to Goal.

Talks between Bayern and Musiala are said to have reached deadlock, with the 17-year-old reportedly holding out for £100,000-a-week.

Musiala, who moved through Chelsea's academy, is currently on a youth wage due to expire in 18 months.

Musiala is German-born, but was recently picked for the England Under-21 side, and has made 19 appearances for Bayern this season

I guess when one kid gets it, that sets a precedent for others to follow. Especially that they now have agents.

He owed them one more season IMO

If he couldn't get them up again then fine, but his tactics and poor signings were a big reason they went down and he should have at least tried to clean up the mess

If it were my club I'd want the manger to at least try

Even Benitez stuck around at Newcastle when he could have bailed and gotten away with doing so
