Shelvey has just tried to find Carrol from a corner.

Fair play to the ex RS for still getting paid thousands of pounds every week after so long.
Manquillo another one, genuinely might even be the worst of the bunch, woeful footballer

Newcastle should count themselves extremely lucky to have 19 points already at this stage because they're playing like a team ready to get relegated.

Fulham are miles better than them, Brighton have more to themselves than Newcastle, and Burnley will easily stay up.

For me there is just one relegation spot up for grabs, because Sheffield United and WBA are utterly terrible. I'm hoping it's Newcastle that finishes 18th.

Agree on managers effecting teams but Villa have recruited very well this summer just gone.

Whoever their DOF is I would take in a heartbeat over the current fella we have here.
A bit of recency bias going on there, mate. Unless they’ve changed the back room setup in the last couple of years, they also bought Hogan, Hourihane, about 16 keepers who have all been pap, Wesley and that other donkey of a forward whose name escapes me (Samata or something?).

As many, if not more misses than hits. It’s almost as if every DOF wins some and loses some.

Carroll absolutely p*ssed away his career, it's actually a bit of a shame. I know he won a cup with Liverpool, got some England caps and has made a lot of dough but for a player who looked as exciting as he did when he first came on the scene it's been massively underwhelming. No better example of 'too much, too soon' over the past decade in English football than him.
