Actually starting to think Fulham might stay up after all. They've shown some really positive signs recently drawing with Southampton and away at Spurs before unluckily losing narrowly to Chelsea and succumbing 2-1 to United after leading.

The barcodes have played an extra game with half a season to go, that seven point cushion could soon be four if Fulham beat Brighton and with nineteen games left to play.

Eddie Howe back with Wilson, Fraser and Matt Ritchie..

Get the Bournemouth gang back together.

Last time they went down under Rafael they allowed him to stay on and try and redeem themselves. I hope Bruce is kept on as I reckon they'll struggle. Last season's relegated teams are all either at the top or in the top six and right in the middle of the fight for promotion but Bruce's battlers won't follow their example if relegated

all three could easily bounce right back up - but this season has been the exception to the rule rather than the norm.

James & Allan came because of Carlo & Silva brought Richy with him from Watford. All signed under Brands but lets not pretend he went out and scouted / convinced them to join.

Brands has effectively recruited Digne, Doucoure, Godfrey, Gomes, Delph, Kean, Iwobi, Gbamin, Mina, Sidibe, Zouma, Bernard, Olsen, Lossl

Digne and Mina the only players who've been consistent. Godfrey has big potential and Iwobi has improved but end product still lacking.

For the dough spent he's been bang average here imo.

That's all fair and well, albeit slightly speculative in terms of who did what, but there's more to the DOF's job than scouting individual players. Behind the scenes he's done a lot of firing, hiring and remodelling of the scouting network and that's gonna take time to fully see the effect. He has also negotiated the deals for incoming players and reportedly did very well over the summer negotiating deals in Everton's favour.

And if we're comparing him to Aston Villa's DOF or head of recruitment do you have a breakdown of who did what and identified which players for all their deals? Because if you don't then the comparisons pretty pointless.

Ollie Watkins for example. Was he bought from Brentford on the say so of former Brentford manager Dean Smith or was he brought in on the say so of current Villa Sporting Director Johann Lange? Was Nottingham Forest's Matty Cash identified by Dean Smith having managed in the Championship for 4 or 5 years or was that Johann Lange, the fella who came in from Copenhagen at the end of July 2020?

Yeah they'll stay up. The last couple of days in the summer transfer window saved them with Loftus-Cheek and Lookman.

Carragher calling Newcastle boring he wants to listen back to his co commentating its like someone reading a menu or some really annoying coke head constantly talking when your trying to watch something
him paired up with Martin Tyler is torture
Tyler has got to be the worse commentator since Barry Davies. Even when it's a good game with those two I find myself nodding off.
