Not only have 2 football teams, with their 38 player squads and 2 managers decided to throw a game, BUT and here's the kicker, they told ALL the bookmakers in the world it was going to happen.

Im sure that would be very easy to keep quiet.

Very strange how it's all worked out with him isn't it? I get he wasn't fully fit when he joined but it's been about four months now and he's constantly on the bench and never trusted to start.

Even tonight he's sat there and may not even come on. Jose suggested he's not showing enough in training and I wouldn't be surprised going off the bad attitude he had towards playing in Spain - ie that he would rather be on the golf course than training field.

I guess they didn't have the option to cut their losses on him and send him back, but it will have proven to be an extremely expensive experiment for them for the 300k a week they are contributing towards his wage!
