Agree...they are all expected to be sweepers/superb passers (mostly inside their own area), dribblers, as well as actually being shot stoppers.
Keepers like Neuer are a throwback to better 'keeping.

Neuer I class as past generation alongside Buffon but yeah, fair enough, can see that argument given Neuer is only 34.

But again, problem I have is people saying Alisson is anywhere near that level - he's not.

I also think people have a misconception that De Gea is bad now because he isn't the same guy who spent 3 years being one of the 10 best players in any position and now is only above average. His peak was stellar.

Also generally Oblak isn't talked about enough.
