Currently? La Liga is the poorest it's been for a decade. The Premiership has always been the most entertaining but then not many teams play a low block and sit back in the Bundesliga. I'd say for the first time in years it's all about personal preference and which style of football you prefer.

Individually Bayern and City are the two best sides in the world with the caveat thrown in of Pep has a bad habit of beating himself in Europe.

The English do this weird thing where Bayern is the best side in the world but that is not a point in favor of the Bundesliga
 
Just came across this. I know it was against dross opposition at a low level but i don't see anyone else scoring 9 goals in a single match lol

I don't know it's a bit weird. It almost seems like the rest of the Bundesliga has no problem with Bayern just hoovering up all the talent on the cheap and keeping themselves as the dominant force. It's like some sides feel a bit cheeky taking the lead against them almost. Watching Dortmund go two up against them the other and you could sense Dortmund never believed they could even win. They have that Ferguson's Man Utd stench/aura about them.
 
Just got onto Herr Shipmanns use of the 5 subs tonight, that he was crying his arse off about needing in the EPL.

2-0 up (4-0 on ag) in 74th min - good time to bring off Salah/mane/an other, yeah?!

Nah, not old Jeeeeeergen - let's not make another sub for 10 mins, and then leave the rest of them until stoppage time - gobshoite!

They actually can't compete financially because of the rules so that is part of it.

75% of the Champions League is utter dross that wouldn’t get into the top half of the prem. the FA Cup is harder to win. It’s harder to qualify for the CL via the prem than it is to win it. Some of the groups are a complete joke then you’re one decent draw away from the QFs every single season. Ridiculous competition.

impossible to score a league based on success in cup competitions. Man city would run away with bundesliga or la liga, but suspect they will find a way to mess up the CL at some stage.
