Reports the burgalry was violent, hope his family are ok. Very worrying times for footballers, straight after Ancelotti then Olsen.

Used to live opposite a Man United supporter, he was a right annoying dickwad and hasn’t been to a match since 2001 when they lost to Bolton, yet still sees himself as a true supporter. Brighton is right down the road from him these days and has never been down there when United played them (still keep in touch with his brother who told me this).

Also, he always had this annoying sense of entitlement thinking it was in their duty to win the league every year “for football’s sake”. Which was just him quoting Chris Waddle in 2007, when United were on their way to winning their first title in 4 years at the time. Was loving it when they lost the cup final to Chelsea, as it shut Waddle up wanting them to win the FA Cup for that same reason and keeping quiet that idiot I had the misfortune to live opposite.

They’ve been jammy for almost every win this season; if it isn’t VAR always in their favour with penalty presents, then it’s ridiculous stoppage time being added or in this case own goals.

Man United supporters make banners to wind up other clubs, yet the club even fund a company to make them themselves. Rumour has it, the guy who runs this company was once an Evertonian.

Utterly disgraceful behaviour that goes beyond banter.

Struggling to understand this post.

- United fans make banners
- The club also fund a company to make banners for themselves (themselves being the club ?)
- The guy who runs the company that make banners for United was once an Everton fan ?

Im confused as to what the problem is ?

It’s called “Stretford End Flags” or something along those lines, it’s owned by someone independently who used to support Everton. United once funded them and decided to make that moving banner that went up by a digit of one every time a football season passed without City winning a trophy. When they won the FA Cup in 2011, the banner got removed.

On Sky Sports News, they interviewed City fans. They were all asked the same question “Top 4 or FA Cup?”. The overwhelming amount of them who suggested FA Cup, all gave the same reason; “Tear that banner down”.

Football rivalries are supposed to be banter, but with United what they do goes well beyond the realms of that. You don’t see us make banners bullying the RS for example.
