Did what? He finished in top 6/5 loads of times with us and beat arsenal a good few times aswell.

League was less competitive back then tbh, we were comfortably the 5th or at worst 6th best side for several years... nowadays I feel like we're not really any better than most mid table clubs despite the position in the table.

I had written him off at United, a symptom of their decline and malaise. If we had signed him, even on loan, I would have done my nut.

I can't work out quite why I am so pleased for him now.

Thing is if we did get him he possibly might of been stuck on the bench with King

Key word is consistency. They have played their first 11 a LOT more than us and bar losing Antonio for a month or so, have been barely had any important injuries.
