A Villa win over Spurs and a draw in the West Ham vs. Arsenal game is what I'd like to see.

I think Spurs could still qualify for Europe just on their strikeforce and I can't see a Moyes side beating Arsenal even in their current state.

We have to play all of these sides still (Villa twice) so our season is still in our own hands - which is probably reason to worry!
 

As well as us still waiting for the villa game to be rearranged or said, villa will now have another game to be rearranged home v man city as off course man city will now be in cup semi final action [17th april] on date that villa v city game was due in League
 
Not sure if anyone is watching the Chelsea - Sheffield United cup game. But Pearce, the commentator, is speaking in a really weird, subdued tone.

Keep expecting him to ask what I'm wearing.

Chelsea’s 5 world class subs making the difference. Such an unlevel playing field allowing 5 subs, with a 3 sub rule United had half a chance at least.

Arsenal won the 2017 FA cup after meeting two non league sides in consecutive rounds, Sutton United in the 5th and Lincoln in the quarters.

The cup isn't fair it's not decided on merit, you don't have to meet the best to win it that's idiotic, you can meet F*** all and still win the cup, even get relegated the same year like Wigan.

Portsmouth, Wigan, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Swansea the list of lower league teams who have won a domestic cup and been relegated soon afterwards goes on and on.

The league is the only place to decide who is a good team the FA cup is a poor lucky dip by comparison - there's some shíte been in the final too - relegated Watford, Middlesbrough, Hull City etc.

The FA Cup is rightly dismissed as worth far less than the league, it's nowhere near a major trophy and most teams have far less respect for it until the later rounds. Why we had to draw City so early on and be this year's mugs and fall guys? We win and everyone else benefits, we lose and everyone else thinks at least we had a far better draw.

It’s not the same anymore. The moment finalists stopped recording cheesey songs to mark their appearance in the final also marked the moment when the cup was no longer relevant.

You could also pinpoint it when the BBC stopped showing stuff like “Breakfast at the teams hotels”, supporters travelling up to Wembley on the busses being interviewed, a local butcher showing us his “Cup Final Special” etc. Back then the cup actually meant something.

To me these days it’s just a trophy and not one that will change the world as far as Everton Football Club is concerned.
