Despite the conflicting rumors, Borussia Dortmund have privately let it be known that Erling Haaland's release clause will only be valid starting June 2022, at a price point of €75 million (roughly $91 million)

However, it now turns out that the clause is higher than initially expected – at least according to Bild.

The German publication is now reporting that the Norwegian international has a release clause of more than €100 million.
How can a release clause be higher than expected? Surely it would be well known and openly shared by his agent?

I see us getting 8th or 9th...a 'nothing' position...which will please our lads as it reduces performance anxiety for next season (low expectations etc). I predict next season we'll finish between 11th and 8th...which will please our lads because it reduces performance anxiety over the season following next. I predict that that season we'll finish between 11th and 8th...which will please our lads because it reduces performance anxiety over the season following that.....etc etc

On the bright side, every December, the lads will put in some fabulous Blue Chrimbo appearances

Too right mate, I've often thought that this comes from the very top and it's related to our beloved neighbors across the park. How many times have we had the chance to beat a rubbish RS team and failed? I think a lot of people have bought into this plucky little Everton, even Kopites and Jamie Carragher call this nonsense out.

In 2009, when we got to the final, we largely did the best we could, if Saha had taken his chance who knows what would have happened. That's the last time, I can honestly really say I was really proud of an Everton team, we just played a superior side and we had a lot of injuries. However when you look at all the sides who beat the RS since 2010, you really do have to question our players commitment, when other sides can beat them so easily.

I think when we lost to City in the semi finals a few years ago, we probably didn't deserve to get to the final, they should of got a penalty in the first leg, however the amount of chances we missed against United was ridiculous. I remember the phone in on Radio City after we lost to Fiorentina and some fella was rightly pointing out we still should of taken our chances and won and we shouldn't simply be happy we played well.

Now of course you have the delusion of the RS and Arsenal fans were they they think they're entitled to win something, however when you look at the sides we've lost to in cup competitions and even in 2013/2014 had we won games like WBA home and away and beaten Palace home and away, we would of finished 4th.

We don't ask for much as Everton fans, but not spending money like your an 11 year old on FIFA would be something we'd like. The amount of dross we've bought since 2016 is unforgivable and the failure to replace Lukaku as well in unforgivable. While it may be unpopular on here, but I do think Moshiri has to take a lot of the blame, pointlessly keeping Martinez in the job, then sacking him before the last game of the season, then bringing in somebody who was completely unsuited to the club. Then bringing in Silva, who hadn't done anything to suggest he would be the one to change our fortunes, has left us in a situation where it will take Ancellotti a lot of times to sort us out.

Trouble with Carlo is that he has done his football managerial dash..'.been there, done that, got the T-shirt'...and I'd question his motivation/ambition. Everton is a 'nice' place to manage...he's happy enough where we are and will always be...11th to 8th (with 7th in a year Leicester is off their game).

So how does the WC qualifiers work. Top 3 teams or through or??
Group winners go to World Cup, second place to playoffs with the 2 best Nations League group winners that either haven’t won their qualifying group or finished second.

Those Nations League winners are Italy, Belgium, Spain and World Champions France
