I think it’d be good to win next season’s Europa and then the season after that, win the Champions League. Long odds on that though

Or they get it by finishing fifth, sixth or seventh and have a top-four team win the League Cup. What we need to do is swerve the Europa with its ridiculous Thursday games and get into the CL.

Not the Europa Conference, we don't. At a stretch, maybe the Europa League proper because the winner gets CL the next season. But if we have to play qualifiers just for the Europa League, that'll scupper our preparation for next year's PL season, which will be a very important one for the club.

Liverpool: 1 deserved (albeit on steroids / nobody else assed that year), 3 flukes
United: Lots
Arsenal: 7 (I think)

Disaster. But then we're the only non-ESL team there, so I guess nobody cares. Only ESL teams are allowed to have nice things. Forget the fact that before 2008 we'd won about twice the number of trophies of City and Spurs combined.....
