If Dest stays high again second half, we have to swap Ream for Robinson with instructions for him to stay back more than he usually does. Just don’t let them in behind. Acosta grew into it a bit but we have to get Adams on and give it everything we can. Coaches should be pulling Pulisic aside and telling him to relax. He’s wound up too tight tonight. Needs to let it come to him.

Overall, good reaction after a disaster start and a bit of luck with their second being offside. Second half will be fun.

Man I wish we would have picked up McKennie last summer before he went to Juventus. Yes, he still needs work on the technical aspects long-term, but he has a lot of the same intangible qualities that we praise in Godfrey, but in the midfield.

And I’d be putting in a call to Dortmund about Reyna before someone else does. I think his ceiling may be even higher than Pulisic’s, especially since he’s only 18 still.

I’m not one of those Americans that thinks all our players are world-beaters or that we should sign them all, but those two just seem like they have what we’re missing in a couple of positions.

Reyna is 18 and playing regularly for a better team who is known to be one of the best around at developing talented young players. Why in the world would he leave?

Maybe he wouldn’t want to, but I imagine that for many American players the Premier League is probably the long-term goal. I don’t think he’s going to be at Dortmund forever. No harm in asking.
