Mexico’s right down there with Serbia and Putin’s little green men as the worst national team fans in the world. At some point American stadiums are going to stop having them because they’re too much of a security hassle.

Was gonna say the same thing. They are consistently awful and an embarrassment to the Mexican National Team, which clearly seemed exasperated by their fans' behavior.

Great win for the US, and an enjoyable match. Mexico's strategy of not marking or playing defense on corners seems to have backfired. They might want to actually try and play defense/mark players on corners next time the play.

Agreed. Pulisic had one good play from open field and made the penalty. But otherwise he was largely absent.
No he wasn't that good. I'm mostly just trolling Zat because he insisted Lozano was the next big thing and now he's a slightly above average Serie A player who is probably at his peak.

Pulisic was much better when they moved him centrally but yes it wasn’t his best game.
But when the game was on the line he stepped up and put the penalty top corner and ran over to quiet the worst fans in sports.
I’ll take it

They really aren’t. Look at their behavior in scrums and on the touchline, and all of them rushing to the penalty spot to try and hack up the ground before Pulisic scored. The Mexico MNT and their fans behave exactly the way right-wing media tries to portray all Mexicans.

I saw a few players trying to calm the crowd, make gestures about the homophobic yelling etc. That doesn't mean they don't hack, roll around and fake injury, etc.

Tim Ream was very poor and slow last night. It was like watching him channel the ghost of Geoff Cameron.
Cameron was twice the player of Ream, especially when Ream plays left back. He shouldn’t see the field again as he’s just going to be a target every time he does.
