Interesting comments from Austin about Wan-Bissaka. Must admit I have the same view - he's really good in the tackle, but usually he's tackling because his defensive positioning in the first instance was a mess and he's used his pace to recover.

I don't rate him, but it's interesting to see a fellow pro critiquing him in this way.

His defensive positioning usually a result of having to cover elsewhere. His pace allowing to get back, cover & get a tackle in. Carried the United back four in many games last season. Usual talk sport shouty nonsense.

Jags used to get accused of the same thing; it's a lazy critique. His positioning and pace put him in positions where he got to make the heroic tackles we loved him for.

AWB is a good defender, horribly average going forward but he does hold his position well.
