Jamaica has been in two of the last three Gold Cup finals prior to this one. They were a decent side for a while there, as CONCACAF goes.

Well to also be fair I left of T&T who recently have also been better than Canada.

El Salvador represented themselves well in this tournament.

The point mate is that Canada has underperformed against minnows for a long time.

Canada being good is good for the confederation.

The larger point I am on about is that Canada should be a top Concacaf nation. They have been very poor and minnows have passed them up. Regardless of this result they are staking their claim where they should be.
