I thought the refs had to start using the side monitors? Wasnt that the FIFA rule this season?

VAR isn’t a mess, it does exactly what it’s supposed to, cheat the system for the bigger teams.

Na mate people said that about Andy Johnson, pace to burn, earned about nine pens in one season for Palace.....then he signed for Everton... think that was that, Wenger made a speech, integrity, diving etc and Andy's pens where over. Remember going to Ewood Park not long after that speech and poor Andy was kicked so hard up the arse in the box, that both feet clearly came off the ground...the ref waved play on and gestured for Andy to get up. Andy must have woken next morning thinking he'd had a very heavy night at the Lisbon.

Serious question. Why do we average about one a season?. Nobody in the Prem get's less penalties than us.

You can't just blame the fact that we don't have any tricky wingers. The law of averages says we should get at least a couple of penalties from handball and pushing in the box. I'm sure we're one of the higher scorers of headed goals which means we must be putting plenty of crosses in.

They can and they will....

City shouldn't be doing anything of the sorts, they got humilated last season because of their own arrogance, and will again this season if, like you and others, they just assume they're the best team...

because most refs are corrupt kopites.
 
Other teams can't just randomly decide to play like Leeds vs Liverpool. THey've been doing that for 2 years under a great manager. Most teams would be badly exposed trying it.
 

Now on to Crackhead Gollum vs Home Alone Pigeon Lady at the London Stadium.

Bit like following up Knebworth 03 or Live Aid with "Life 08" from Peep Show....
