Nah we would have lashed this team out of it even with our bad attacking players. What did we have to lose. Carlo had a stinker no two ways about it. This has been the first time ever I criticised him and I know he’s brilliant but that was a defining game where everyone said ‘ha ha believed your own hype’.

Like having a gun and cowering as someone in running at you with a baseball bat.’

We can put it right tomorrow though

As long as he learns from his mistakes...
 

I see we are now out of top 4...hopefully the now reduced weight of performance expectation will (ironically) allow us to perform. I think we need to slip to a more comfortable 7th before our brave lion hearts can play properly, so I remain pessimistic as regards our chances tomorrow...but hope springs eternal
