Birtherism over here has made me a bit sensitive to all that.

Not sure what Obama has to do with the well known issues football has with the age of African players.

One of his youth team coaches thinks his age his guessed, his father refuses to do an age test, he is quite possibly not 16.

Outstanding talent but it's perfectly normal to question his age.

44 pens in 127 games, i bet you we've barely had that many despite being ever present in the league. I can recall two seasons where we only got 1 pen in the whole season. Then and Liverpool are hated by everyone because nobody can actually say they deserve credit.

With them its everything else on top of that - at least the RS are a decent side, these are no better than we are but get the rub every week it seems or outright have refs cheat on their behalf. That disallowed goal at GP a couple of years ago for example, which was arguably worse than the Hutchison arse-goal being disallowed was.

It's not as he's presented a birth certificate that has been authenticated. Obama has to do with it because he's done the same and people see fit to still question where he was born. It is the exact same problem.

Penalties should be hard to save so I've no problem with that one.

Players shouldn't be allowed to block crosses/shots with their arms so I have no problem with that one.

What's ridiculous?

I think a lot of the problem is that people got so used to these laws not being enforced that they're all mad about it now.

They're getting a free shot from 12 yards in a 6ft goal. It's already hard. The idea of stepping off the line stacks an unfair advantage to the player about to get a ball blasted at him is stupid IMO.

Of course players shouldn't be able to block shot or crosses with their arms. Most players don't...it's usually leathered at them from 2 yards, they're not even looking at it, they're sliding/running... basically doing anything to not stop a ball with their arms.

And no, these aren't laws that weren't enforced. They're laws that are now being re-interpreted, calculated, measured, reviewed, zoomed in, frame jumped, and replayed in as many speeds as you want. This additionally doesn't provide consistency either.

50% of fernandes' goals have been pens, its disgusting. The other 50% have probably been vs us ha

But 16% of united's goals have been pens in the last two seasons... Rugby teams have a lower percentage ffs.

Yet everyone is moaning about VAR, football is the only sport in history to get worse the more technology they introduce, yet somehow its the technology's fault haha not the massively corrupt and incompetent officiating?

No, Barak Obama has had his nationality questioned not his age. Maybe you're just not really aware of the long-term issue football has had with African youth players. It's why, for years, they did so well in youth international tournaments.

He's got a birth certificate from Cameroon. I've also seen a football documentary where a Nigerian man had his own death certificate hanging above his desk.

The goalkeeper coming off the line law is quite literally the same as it has always been but just actually called now. There is really nothing else to it even if you want to act like because sometimes it is close they've changed how it works.

The WBA player doesn't put his arm up by his face he doesn't block it with his arm. Simple. It doesn't even matter how close to the ball he is or whether it was hit hard or not.

Too right, handball was brought in to stop players intentionally sticking their hand out to stop shots, crosses etc. It honestly only needs to be that simple, it's easy for everyone to understand. Yes, you'll get refs who think it's intentional when it's not, but that's sport, you should only give it even its obviously intentional.

It is so so simple as a resolution, the game is run by absolute idiots who have no idea about the game.

As always with issues of race this is a question of benefit of the doubt and as usual it is a black person who isn't being given it.

Sure he could be lying but given we don't have evidence of that why are you or anybody else saying he is?

I've got to go out so I'm just going to leave it here.

You're weirdly obsessed with returning everything to skin colour.

He could be white and come from Cameroon and I'd still question his real age. The fact his dad refuses an MRI age test speaks volumes.
